Wish you had SOCIAL FUN among COWORKERS?

Anyone feeling playful as summer is nearly here for us all? Well, I took my work to the lake this week and as I watch my children play gleefully even in colder temperatures, I realized how much I miss social fun with my own team of Boosters. In recent weeks, we retired virtual “happy hours” and today I launched a new approach. We now have a shared HRBoost Social Calendar where participation is voluntary but sign up and hosting is for all! The events can be monthly, socially in person or virtually from our out of state Boosters. They can be HRBoost sponsored with food for example or FREE. Some might be for Charity or a social cause. Others might end up being experiential or lunch and learns. I look forward to what we create together as a team and the first few months ahead are 100% HRBoost hosted, for charity or Alumni and we all have summer fun locked in on the calendar as a team!

If you are missing the camaraderie and fun of in person events with your team and have a hybrid or remote business like my own, consider the ways a social calendar can provide numerous benefits for co-workers looking to mix it up in the new hybrid world.

A social calendar can provide numerous benefits for co-workers in a workplace, including:

  1. Encouraging team bonding: A social calendar can help to create opportunities for co-workers to socialize and get to know each other outside of work. This can lead to stronger relationships and better teamwork in the workplace.

  1. Improving morale: Social events can be a great way to boost morale and create a positive work culture. When employees feel like they are part of a community, they are more likely to feel motivated and engaged at work.

  1. Reducing stress: Participating in social events can help employees to unwind and de-stress, which can lead to increased productivity and job satisfaction.

  1. Fostering creativity: Social events can provide a space for co-workers to share ideas and brainstorm in a more relaxed environment, which can lead to increased creativity and innovation in the workplace.

  1. Promoting work-life integration: A social calendar can help to promote work-life balance by providing opportunities for co-workers to engage in activities they enjoy outside of work.

Overall, a social calendar can help to create a more positive and supportive workplace culture, which can lead to increased job satisfaction, better teamwork, and improved productivity.
