Rob is co-founder and CEO of uMap™, a software and leadership training firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to founding uMap™, Rob was most recently President, CEO and Chairman of The Bank of Holland, a community bank serving the state of Michigan. During his 30-year career, Rob has held many leadership positions – CEO, President, 2x founder, board member, and advisor. When it comes to running or advising organizations, he’s convinced of one thing – the most valuable and sacred asset of any organization is its people.

Today, he advises organizations about how to implement proven, people-centric culture that makes work meaningful and drives results. Rob has a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Ross School of Business. He currently serves on the boards of West Michigan Community Bank and Grand Rapids Label Company. When he’s not driving culture, Rob may be found coaching baseball or skiing at every opportunity he can find, having a glass of wine with Sarah, his bride of 26 years, or chasing their 4 adult children wherever life leads them!
